They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.” — Psalm 84:7 (KJV)
In Deliberate Christian, 2025 is declared our Year of Ascension—a season of rising higher in spiritual maturity, purpose, obedience, and kingdom impact. But let’s be clear: there can be no ascension without strength.
Ascension is not passive. It demands determination, divine empowerment, and unshakable focus. Whether it’s ascending in your walk with God, stepping into new assignments, healing from emotional trauma, or rebuilding your prayer life, you need strength—and not just physical strength, but spiritual, emotional, and mental resilience.
The story of the spies in Numbers 13:31-33 reminds us what happens when strength is lacking—especially in the mind. While Caleb and Joshua saw opportunity, the others saw giants and fear. A weak mind sees barriers; a God-strengthened mind sees promises.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7
A sound mind is a strengthened mind, rooted in God’s Word, built on faith, and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
To rise as God intends, you must cultivate spiritual strength. It is not automatic—it’s activated through these six pillars:
Every believer who desires to ascend spiritually must train on these truths. That’s why we call Deliberate Christian a spiritual gym—you’re not meant to stay spiritually flabby. You’re called to be fit for Christ.

These prayers for strength are powerful, but they will only bear fruit if you’re connected to the Source—Jesus Christ. Strength comes from the Lord, and to access it, you must surrender your life to Him. If you haven’t yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, this is the most important decision you’ll ever make.
But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength…” — Isaiah 40:31
Will you give your life to Christ today? He’s waiting to receive you, forgive you, and fill you with the strength you need to ascend.
Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to You. I repent of my sins and ask You to come into my heart. Be my Lord and Savior. Fill me with your strength and help me to walk with You every day. In Jesus’ name, amen.
If you just prayed this prayer, please contact us so we can pray with you, walk with you, and disciple you. You don’t have to do life alone—you have a family here at Deliberate Christian.
Now, let’s pray. Speak these words aloud and in faith—strength is being activated in you as you pray.
