Why Strength Is Essential for Ascension

The story of the spies in Numbers 13:31-33 reminds us what happens when strength is lacking—especially in the mind. While Caleb and Joshua saw opportunity, the others saw giants and fear. A weak mind sees barriers; a God-strengthened mind sees promises.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7

A sound mind is a strengthened mind, rooted in God’s Word, built on faith, and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

To rise as God intends, you must cultivate spiritual strength. It is not automatic—it’s activated through these six pillars:

• Crucifixion – Die daily to self and sinful desires (Galatians 2:20).
  Surrender – Give up control and yield to the Spirit (Romans 12:1).
  Faith – Believe even when nothing looks possible (Hebrews 11:1).
  Conviction – Stand on truth, not trends (Romans 14:5).
  Humility – Recognize that God is your only source of strength (James 4:6).
  Obedience – Do what God says even when it’s uncomfortable (Deuteronomy 28:1).
